Sabrina Carpenter’s latest red carpet look is serving…
Carpenter has been getting plenty of attention for her appearance at this year’s Met Gala. Usher fed her cherries during an afterparty, which got a hilarious one-word reaction from Carpenter’s father. The “Espresso” singer also wore a scarlet bodysuit with a matching top coat and tails to the event.
The look drew plenty of comparisons to an unlikely source, WWE Superstar Gunther. Many fans immediately caught on and made the comparison to “The Ring General”, reacting to the look on social media.
Sabrina Carpenter has since responded to comments about her look, writing “damn [I] fucked up” on Twitter/X. Pro wrestling fans were quick to note that she didn’t do anything wrong and appreciated her unintended tribute to Gunther.

In addition, several fans also gave Sabrina Carpenter a fantastic new nickname that was inspired by the former WWE World Champion.
Meet CUNTHER.

We also got a slight variation that includes Gunther’s “Ring General” nickname; say hello to “The Sing General” Cunther:

If Cunther isn’t your fancy, one fan also suggested using “Gooner”:

Gunther will be in action against Pat McAfee at this year’s WWE Backlash event on May 10. He will compete against an unlikely opponent, RAW announcer Pat McAfee on the show. McAfee is taking the match very seriously, but Gunther might be overlooking it based on his reaction to WWE making the match official.
Sabrina Carpenter recently wrapped the first leg of her “Short N’ Sweet” tour in April.
