How did Sami Zayn become the Honorary Uce of The Bloodline in one of the most memorable WWE storylines of the last decade?
Sami Zayn and the rest of The Bloodline were guests on the latest episode of Stephanie’s Places. When Stephanie asked Sami how he got involved in The Bloodline story, Zayn revealed that in a way it was a play off of things happening in real life.
“We have been traveling the roads together for many years, Roman and then the twins,” Sami Zayn said. “Since I came up, since I came to WWE. So that’d be 2013, 2014. We got along famously from the jump. And I had this idea for a story where I kind of asked, like, hey, what if you let me hang around? Like I could be part of a team.”
Shortly after, Roman Reigns then commented with a very heartfelt message about what he feels for Sami Zayn.
“As a part of our family, though, my dad and my uncle, a lot of our family considered them like shepherds,” Roman Reigns said. “They always had a flock, you know? They always had just people that they were mentoring or helping, or becoming chosen family. And we’ve kind of done that with you.”
