Bishop Dyer, formerly known as Baron Corbin, shares his thoughts on Karrion Kross getting major fan support despite being a heel
Kross is supposed to be one of WWE’s heels, however, fans have been reacting very differently. Instead of booing him, they’re cheering him on especially during his ongoing rivalry with Sami Zayn. On last week’s episode of WWE RAW, the fans made their feelings clear. Right after Kross attacked Zayn and delivered a promo, loud chants of “We want Kross” filled the arena.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bishop Dyer explained that Karrion Kross is in a ‘funky position’ as fans have started supporting him more and more. “Kross is in a funky situation because there’s kind of been a movement for Kross through social media and arenas. So I think honestly whatever he does, he’s not going to get heat, period.”
Dyer noted that Kross has already connected with the fans by showing appreciation for their support, which makes it even harder for people to boo him. “He’s told the fans ‘I appreciate you. I hear you,’ all that. So they’re not going to [boo him]. He’s jumping Sami Zayn. I mean, everybody wants to hit Sami Zayn with a lead pipe, let’s be real. If you’ve worked with them, you definitely want to give them a shot with one of those just for the headaches he causes you, but it’s tough now. Karrion Kross confirms unscripted moment on WWE RAW
Karrion Kross gave a passionate promo on WWE RAW last week, and he ended the segment by surprising everyone, including his wife, Scarlett by kissing her out of nowhere. Later, both Kross and Scarlett confirmed that the kiss wasn’t planned.
Karrion Kross responded to a fan who asked if he surprised Scarlett with the kiss, saying he did. Scarlett also confirmed it by saying it was “100% unscripted.”
