Jacy Jayne was in the ring on NXT last week when former AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May made her WWE debut.
NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne was a recent guest on Busted Open Radio. When asked about Mariah May’s debut last week during her segment, Jayne hilariously said that at first she thought that it was actually Tiffany Stratton.
“So at first, I thought it was Tiffany (Stratton),” Jacy Jayne admitted. “I was like, oh my God! Tiffany’s here. But then I was like, okay. Well, she doesn’t have a title. Can’t be Tiffany. But I’m excited. I welcome anybody to our division. Let’s see if you can hang with our division, and it’s just another shot for me to show everyone that I’m better.” [H/T: Fightful]
It’s unknown when May will be given her new WWE name, but it could happen as soon as tonight’s episode of NXT.
