It’s already very clear that WWE is very interested in Joe Hendry when his TNA contract expires later this year. However, he’s not the only one.
In recent months, WWE has looked to strengthen both sides of the men’s and women’s rosters down in NXT. Talents like Mariah May, Ricky Saints, and Jordynne Grace have been brought in to boost the third brand’s roster as call-ups to RAW and SmackDown continue.
It’s well known that WWE has an interest in former TNA World Champion Joe Hendry. Although they now have eyes on another top talent there as well.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, there has been a lot of internal talk within NXT in recent weeks regarding their interest in Mike Santana.
Santana reportedly was given “high marks” among those in WWE following his recent appearances in NXT. However, it was his recent match against Trick Williams that sent the company’s interest to another level.
Johnson states that Santana’s current contract with TNA runs through the end of the year.
