WWE legend JBL predicts Logan Paul will become a great World Champion but he doesn’t think Paul will defeat Jey Uso this weekend.
In just three years since his WWE debut, Logan Paul already has one title reign under his belt as WWE United States Champion. However, he is set his sight on even bigger gold the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
This weekend, he’ll go head-to-head with Jey Uso at Saturday Night’s Main Event in a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match. Although Paul hasn’t spent much time in WWE, he’s made a major impact with his performances. Despite the hate from the fans, they can’t ignore the fact that he consistently delivers standout matches.
Jey Uso recently defeated Gunther to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. He has become one of the most beloved superstars in the company. However, his reign could face a serious threat this weekend. However, JBL doesn’t believe he’ll lose the championship just yet.
On the Something to Wrestle With podcast, JBL praised Logan Paul’s potential and confidently predicted championship success in his future. While he doesn’t believe Paul will win the title this weekend.
“Logan Paul is going to be a world champion. There’s no doubt about it. I don’t think it’s this weekend… You got Jey Uso and you got to give him time. He is over like crazy right now… My opinion, you leave it on him [Jey],” his belief in Paul’s eventual rise is clear.”
“But eventually, Logan Paul, that’s a heat seeking missile. I’m such a fan of Logan Paul. He’s going to be a great world champion. I mean that. Not only a world champion, he’s going to be a great world champion. That’s gonna make some people mad.” [H/T: Wrestlingnews.co]
