Booker T certainly thinks highly of WWE LFG.
On the latest episode of The Hall of Fame Podcast, NXT commentator Booker T spoke about the upcoming second season of WWE LFG, comparing the show to two of the most popular competition shows on television, Dancing with the Stars and The Masked Singer.
“There is going to be a season two, already we are in the mix of season two and it’s getting hot and heavy,” Booker T said. “I was just reading that there are going to be several seasons of LFG on A&E. I’m looking forward to it, I’m going to get dug in. It’s going to be like The Masked Singer or Dancing With the Stars.
“I’m gonna be like one of these judges that just don’t never go home. I’m staying on every show, alright? You guys can look forward to seeing Booker T do his thing, only as I can because I’m the most experienced coach on the show, bar none.
“As far as coaching goes, as far as giving [expertise], I’m talking about one that has expert knowledge, someone that knows all the tricks of the trade, I’m talking about all the smoke and mirrors, the guy that can read every line — that’s who I’m talking about. That’s who I’m talking about. You feel me? I’m getting upset here, imma calm down.” [H/T: Fightful]
It would honestly take nothing short of a miracle for WWE LFG to have the longevity of either of those shows, but more power to Booker T for believing in it like he does.
