Naomi reflects upon a very important moment in her professional wrestling career.
Three years ago this week, Naomi and Sasha Banks (Mercedes Moné) made the decision to walk out of WWE. The two women were the Women’s Tag Team Champions at the time. While Naomi went on to TNA Wrestling and eventually returned to WWE, Banks took a different path and joined up with New Japan Pro-Wrestling and later AEW.
Naomi took to social media to reflect on this defining moment in her wrestling career on Friday, tweeting out:
“On this day caution was proceeded *Warning sign emoji,*” she said in a post.
Since returning to WWE, Naomi recaptured the Women’s Tag Team Titles with Bianca Belair. And after a beautiful done heel turn, she’s now currently feuding with Jade Cargill on SmackDown. At the same time, she’s also in pursuit of the WWE Women’s Championship.
