WWE Superstar Seth Rollins recently opened up about what continues to fuel his passion for professional wrestling.
During his appearance at WWE World, Seth Rollins explained that while the physical rush of performing has gradually diminished over time. He mentioned his connection with the fans has only grown stronger which keeps him going.
“You know how it is; you’ve had so many fights in your career, and there’s an adrenaline rush every single time you do it. But every time you do it, it’s just a little less, and a little less, and a little less. But the thing that never changes the thing that grows more and more is this relationship of gratitude that you get with all of you guys.”
“So every time I come out through the curtain. It doesn’t matter what it feels like behind the curtain. The second I step out and I hear you guys singing the song, or chanting the name, or whatever it is. If you’re booing the life out of me, or cheering for whatever I say. That relationship, to me, I am more and more grateful for that the more that I do it.”
“And so, I never get tired of that. For me, as a fan, as someone who was just like all of you who idolized people in my shoes growing up. I never, ever get tired of that. And it is one of my driving forces that keeps me coming back time after time, match after match, year after year.
Seth Rollins once wrestled in a female devil costume, interfered in match with Jesus
Seth Rollins made a separate appearance at a Fanatics Live Signing at WWE World, where he was asked about wrestling as Satan.
Rollins was known as Tyler Black during his independent days. He explained that he was doing a comedy show around 2005 or 2006. He went to buy a costume, but the store only had female devil costumes.
“It was a comedy wrestling show held by Joey Eastman in probably, 2005 or [2006] in Chicago, Illinois. Midlothian, Illinois, actually, it’s a suburb of Chicago. And on the Halloween or comedy show, I can’t remember if it was one or the other, I dressed as the devil,” Seth Rollins explained. “But, at the local Halloween store — costume store, can’t remember; again, long time ago — they only had female devil costumes.
“In a little precursor to the clothes I wear now, yes, I wore that devil costume for that particular show. I think I may have interfered in a match involving Jesus as well. I don’t know what was going on,” Rollins said. “Only in wrestling.”
