Lors de ROH Supercard of Honor XII, Cody a finalement battu Kenny Omega. Le match s’est terminé suite à l’intervention de The Young Bucks, qui ont voulu agresser Cody mais qui ont finalement heurté Omega. Cody a par la suite pu porter son Cross Rhodes pour la victoire.

Comme noté précedemment, Sumie Sakai est devenue la premier ROH Women of Honor Champion. Pendant le PPV un titre a changé de main, puisque Silas Young a battu Kenny King afin de remporter le ROH World Television Championship suite à un Last Man Standing Match. C’est la seconde fois que Young remporte ce titre.
De plus avant le combat, Austin Aries est apparu avec ses ceintures et a déclaré vouloir affronter le champion.
