Tonight’s Men’s WarGames Match ended in chaos, and the potential return of Seth Rollins via a mysterious man.
During the end of tonight’s Survivor Series, the Men’s WarGames Match had already unfolded into chaos. Things only got stranger when a mysterious man dressed in all black and a mask suddenly climbed into the ring over the cage. He stood in front of a downed CM Punk and Bron Breakker, both of whom had no idea what was happening.
Then, out of nowhere, the man kicked Punk and promptly hit him with a massive Stomp. While many assumed the man was Rollins, he never unmasked and quickly scaled the cage and left the ring immediately. In the ensuing chaos, Breakker used the chance to hit Punk with a big Spear, winning the match for his team.
While the ending itself was chaotic, fans quickly took to social media to theorize just what it could’ve been. The setup seemed to be teasing the return of Rollins at some point, but some fans thought otherwise. Many believe that the masked man was none other than Austin Theory, who has also been out for some time, who helped out.
Whether or not it was Theory, Rollins, or maybe even someone else will have to wait. In the meantime, the WarGames Match came to an end with Roman Reigns promising Cody Rhodes this latest loss was the “last time” they would ever be teammates.
