NXT will be a taped show on July 1.
Here are the results for the matches that were taped on June 24, after NXT was live on The CW this week:
The July 1 NXT TV Spoilers are in no particular order, and come from Cory Hays of BodySlam.net:
- Lainey Reid defeated Thea Hail
- Yoshiki Inamura defeated Jasper Troy
- Joe Hendry defeated Wes Lee
- Myles Borne defeated Lexis King
- Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley defeated Sol Ruca and Zaria
Two big PLE matches were set up due to these results. Yoshiki Inamura’s win over Jasper Troy was a number one contender’s match for the NXT Champion. Inamura will now face champion Oba Femi at The Great American Bash.
Additionally, Jordynne Grace and Blake Monroe will team up against Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley at The Great American Bash. That match was also confirmed during the 7/1 taping. Grace recently earned an NXT Women’s Championship match by winning a four-way elimination match on NXT. She will challenge Jayne, the current champion, at WWE Evolution, one night after the GAB tag team match.
NXT’s The Great American Bash will take place at the Center Stage Theater in Atlanta, Georgia, on July 12. WWE Evolution will take place at State Farm Arena on July 13.
