Lyra Valkyria vs. Becky Lynch added to WWE Money in the Bank 2025 with a huge stipulation.
Tensions have run high between Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria ever since they lost the Women’s Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 41. After the loss, Lynch turned on Valkyria and attacked her, igniting a heated rivalry. Their first showdown took place at WWE Backlash, where Valkyria successfully retained the Women’s Intercontinental Championship by defeating Lynch.
Following the loss, last week on RAW, Becky Lynch attempted to qualify for the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. However, Valkyria interfered, ambushing her former tag team partner which led to Roxanne Perez secure the win.
Despite that setback, the issues between Lynch and Valkyria are far from over. Ahead of this week’s episode of RAW, it was announced that Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria would face Becky Lynch in a rematch at WWE Money in the Bank 2025.
On WWE RAW, both Superstars exchanged heated words. Lynch reminded Valkyria that she was the best thing to ever happen to her. Valkyria fired back, saying that wasn’t the flex Lynch. She pointed out that people talk about her because she’s already beaten Lynch twice.
Becky Lynch, clearly frustrated, brought up their previous clash for the NXT Women’s Title. She reminded the WWE Universe that after Valkyria beat her, she stayed in the ring and respectfully raised Valkyria’s hand.
Now, she’s raising the stakes, Becky Lynch declared that if she fails to defeat Valkyria at Money in the Bank, she will no longer challenge for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship as long as Valkyria remains champion. However, if she wins, Valkyria must return the gesture and raise Lynch’s hand in the middle of the ring.
