Triple H announced the date and location for WWE Money in the Bank 2026.
In a surprising turn, it’ll be happening a bit later in the year. In a recent post on X, Triple H announced that Money in the Bank 2026 will be taking place on August 29, 2026, and will be in New Orleans, Louisiana. The news surprised fans, as the premium live event before WWE’s SummerSlam, in May-July.
However, with Money in the Bank taking place at the end of August, this means the show will take place after SummerSlam next year. SummerSlam 2026 is currently set to take place on August 1-2, 2026, and will be in Minnesota’s U.S. Bank Stadium.

WWE‘s announcement comes just a day after the company revealed WrestleMania 42 will no longer be in New Orleans. Triple H also addressed that news briefly in the video. He revealed WWE will be hosting a WrestleMania in the city, but wouldn’t announce anything until a later date.
WWE has not announced where WrestleMania 42 will now take place. Money In The Bank typically takes place in June or July. However, a date for the 2026 event was not mentioned. It was noted that the UFC and MITB events are part of a broader “multi-event, multi-year agreement” being negotiated between local organizers and WWE and UFC parent company TKO.
