There have been many people who have been released from their WWE Contracts recently. Stars such as Braun Strowman, Dakota Kai, Shayna Baszler, and many more. Former WWE Superstar, the Indy-God Matt Cardona shared some advice for the released stars.
The Death Match King was recently interviewed by Chris Van Vliet on his Insight Podcast. During the interview, Matt Cardona shared that the released stars have two directions they can go in. One is that they can be completely upset and sad that they were released and may never get booked on a wrestling show ever again. The other direction is that they can take advantage of the fact that they have been in WWE and try to get booked on indy shows. He advised them to reinvent themselves, have fun, and this will help them to make a lot of money.
“I’m paraphrasing it, but it was you have three options, right? You can one, fade into obscurity, feel bad for yourself, have a pity party, never be seen again, or be delusional with your prices and never get booked again. Or you can coast off your WWE name. And I don’t just mean your literal name, I mean the fact that you were in WWE just coast off that. Do a couple of indies here and there, some autograph signings, and you probably do that forever. Or the one I chose, work your ass off, reinvent yourself. Have a lot of f*cking fun and make a lot of f*cking money, and you have three options you choose. It’s not the third one’s not easy, but it’s possible,” Matt Cardona said.
Matt Cardona was recently shared that he was caught by surprise that the Monster Among Men was released by WWE.
