Shiloh Hill, who is currently signed to WWE, recently shared some unconventional ways to survive in the cheapest ways possible.
In a recent post on social media, Hill said he could make fans “the richest person in the apocalypse.” In the video, captioned “6 months of food for 79 dollars,” he details how someone could stay fed without much money.
The video breaks down some of the incredibly unique ways Hill goes about it. First, he mentions buying five gallons of vegetable oil, which he calls “the cheapest calories per dollar you can buy.” He also mentions taking a daily vitamin to not be deficient in anything. Finally, and most perplexing, Hill says “the most important” part is two 40lb bags of roasted soy bean and corn. The only problem? The “food” Hill is showing is deer feed.

Hill acknowledges the deer feed, but says that in a survival situation, “you could eat it.” More important to his examples, though, is that the entire “meal” can be eaten without refrigeration or cooking. The entire collection, Hill says, equates to about 300,000 calories. Measured out, that’s about 1,700 calories a day, 26g of protein, 110g of fat, and 154g of carbohydrates.
In follow-up posts, Hill joked that on Instagram, more people were offended at the thought of eating seed oils than actual deer feed. In another post, Hill said nothing he said was meant to be about staying healthy, but rather eating in the “cheapest possible way.”
Hill’s survival skills videos seem to be a regular feature, as he once shared how to get access to clean drinking water in a natural disaster.
the video was about the cheapest possible way to survive for 6 months so everything mentioned was extremely unhealthy
