What is the future of Shotzi as it pertains to her WWE contract status?

Friday night, while WWE releases were ongoing, Shotzi was quietly moved to the Alumni section of the company’s official website. However, she wasn’t listed as someone who got released. We now have an update on her status.
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), those he’s spoken to within WWE have confirmed that while Shotzi hasn’t been released, her contract with the company is set to expire very soon.
This appears to be a situation similar to Baron Corbin’s last year, where he wasn’t released, but his contract wasn’t renewed.
After this report dropped, Shotzi took to social media to seemingly address everything, tweeting out:
“I am more than grateful for the wild ride! Can’t wait to see where this crazy journey takes me next! I hope to make all my believers proud. *Green heart emoji,*” Shotzi said in a post.
